POPULAR ICONS

Since the origins of Pop Art, popular icons have represented much more than faces: they embody eras, revolutions, and collective dreams. In my HyperPop vision, these figures; from Andy Warhol to Marilyn Monroe, from Gabriel García Márquez to Paul McCartney, from Daft Punk to many others are reinterpreted through an explosion of color, light, and irreverence.

Each portrait fuses hyperrealist precision with the vibrancy of pop language, creating works that not only pay tribute but also reinvent. The iconic glasses, the electric looks, the gestures that defined generations, are transformed here into chromatic experiences that vibrate with new energy.

With a career that has brought my work into national and international collections, my proposal with Hyperpop turns cultural legends into timeless symbols, capable of connecting the past with the present and the intimate with the universal.

This collection of “Popular Icons” is not simply about who they were, but about what they continue to inspire: a testimony of how art keeps their legacy alive through new languages and new emotions.
